πŸ† UDisc Leagues & Events β€” what you can do

Everything organizers and players can do with UDisc Leagues & Events β€” from weekly scorekeeping to multi-round tournaments.

UDisc Leagues & Events gives you the tools to run everything from a casual weekly to a multi-round tournament β€” all in one place, and free to use. Here's an overview of what's available.

Creating and managing events

You can choose from event templates designed for the most common formats, or duplicate a previous event to carry over your settings. Templates cover casual weeklies, pre-registration events, multi-day rounds, and advanced multi-round tournaments.

See Which league event template should I choose? for a side-by-side comparison.

Pre-registration and check-in

You can turn on pre-registration for any event β€” useful whether you're running a one-time tournament or want players to commit to a weekly in advance. Pre-registration works with or without player self check-in. For singles and BYOP events, you can also let players select their own card or tee time for the first round.

Multi-round events

Advanced events support multi-round leaderboards with cumulative scoring, pre-round card setup, and multiple pools across different layouts or courses. These events live inside your League, so players can find them easily.

Note: Advanced events don't support handicap scoring or recurrence. If your league uses handicaps, use the Casual or Formal sign-up templates instead.

Live scoring and leaderboards

Live scoring is built in β€” everyone on a card can enter scores in the app, and the leaderboard updates in real time throughout the round. After an event, league and event rounds contribute to each player's Competition rating on their You tab.

See UDisc League Player Guide for what players see on their end.

Handicap scoring

For leagues that want to level the playing field, UDisc can calculate starting scores based on each player's recent performance in your league. Handicap-adjusted scores appear on the scorecard and on your league leaderboard.

See Handicap Leagues FAQs for how to turn it on and how eligibility works.

Player communications

You can reach your entire league or event field β€” or a specific card or division β€” using push notifications, email announcements, and event updates. Share your event quick link or QR code so players can find and check in without searching.

Scoring history

Admins can view a full log of score changes β€” who made edits to a scorecard and when. This is useful for auditing disputes or reviewing what happened after a round.

Private events

Advanced league events and standalone UDisc Events can be set as private, so only players with the link can find and join them.

Season standings

For weekly leagues, you can enable standings that track season-long performance across events. Configure which rounds count, how many best rounds each player keeps, and what percentage of the field earns points.
