πŸ“– UDisc League Player Guide

How can I participate in a UDisc league event and what should I expect?

New to disc golf leagues on UDisc? Here's everything you need to find a league, check in, and play.

πŸ” How to find a league near you

You can find local leagues directly in the UDisc app or on the web:

  • In the app: Tap the Events tab and use the filter to select Leagues. Browse by location or search for a specific league name.

  • On the web: Visit udisc.com/events and filter by Leagues to find events near you.

Once you find a league you want to join, tap the event listing to see details and check in when registration opens. If you have questions about a specific league β€” format, cost, schedule, or divisions β€” check the league home page for contact details and reach out to the league admin directly. Most leagues list an email address on their home page.

πŸ’° How much does it cost?

Participating in a UDisc league is free. All you need is a free UDisc account β€” UDisc Pro is not required. You can sign up at UDisc.com/sign-up. If you don't want to download the app, someone else on your card can keep score for you.

βœ… How to check in

  1. Open the UDisc app and tap the Events tab. You'll likely see the event at the top β€” if not, search for it by name.

  2. Tap the event listing, then tap Check in.

  3. If requested, enter your full first and last name.

Note: Use your real name so league organizers and other players viewing the leaderboard know who you are.

πŸ™‹ How to check in for someone else

If you've already checked yourself in and want to check in for a cardmate, tap Start round, then tap Search and check in other players. From the Add new player screen you can find a player by username or PDGA# or search by People I've played with.

Alternatively, tap the Players button from the event page. Search by name or use the filters to pare down results by player status, people you've played with, and division. This is the best way to check in players who aren't on your card.

🏁 Start the round

One person only should tap Start round to keep score β€” at least one person per group must keep score in UDisc so every player is accounted for on the leaderboard. When the round starts, everyone in your group gets a notification and can keep score or follow along in real-time on their own device.

League admins may also create card groupings and send out starting holes or tee times β€” if so, you'll see your card information automatically on the Home tab when it's available.

βž• Add or remove players from scorecards

If a player needs to be added to or removed from your scorecard after it was created, tap the scorecard menu button in the top right corner of the scorecard and choose Add / remove player.

Note: This is only possible for singles scorecards. If you've forgotten to add a player to a teams card, delete and re-create the scorecard for everyone. Don't create a new singles scorecard β€” use Add / remove player instead.

πŸ† View live scores

UDisc provides live scoring and real-time leaderboards for your league. You can view the current leaderboard by tapping the Leaderboard button in the scorecard, or by opening the Events tab and tapping Leaderboard.

❓ Questions about joining a league or your registration?

If you've been removed from an event, added to one unexpectedly, or have any questions about your registration status, reach out to the league admin directly β€” they manage all roster changes. You can find their contact information on the event or league home page. For questions about your experience in the UDisc app itself, ask to talk to a person in the chat.
