✏️ How can I adjust players scores for an event?

Learn how to edit player scores after an event, including adjusting hole scores and penalties.

To adjust player scores, first get to your event's Leaderboard tab. Here's how depending on where you're starting from:

In the app:

Open the event listing, tap Manage event, then tap Cards & leaderboard to get to the Leaderboard tab.

On the web (league admins):

Go to League tools → Events, select your event, then tap Leaderboard.

On the web (standalone event TDs):

Go to your Event tools and tap the Leaderboard tab.

Adjust scores as an admin

  1. Tap the pencil (Edit) icon next to a player's name on the leaderboard

  2. Select Adjust scores and penalties

  3. Tap into a hole score box and change the score, add a starting score, or assign a round penalty

  4. Tap Save

Note: Changes made from the admin leaderboard will update the public leaderboard but won't change the scores displayed on a player's device. If you want scores to reflect on the player's device, unlock their scorecard instead — see below.

Let players update their own scores

If you'd prefer players to update their own scores on their device:

  1. Head into Event tools → Leaderboard

  2. Tap the 3-dot menu next to the card you want to unlock

  3. Select Remove card verification

Players can then open and edit their scorecard on their device. If they have trouble opening it, ask them to close and reopen the app.

Note: The event must be set to incomplete before you can remove card verification. If the event has already been completed, toggle off Complete event in the upper right of the Leaderboard tab, make your edits, then complete the event again when you're done.

View scoring history

Scoring history shows a full log of every score change made on a scorecard — useful for auditing disputes or reviewing what happened after a round. Only league and event admins can view it.

  1. Tap the 3-dot menu on the card you'd like to review

  2. Select View scoring history

Note: Scoring history logs are saved for 30 days after the event date. You can view real-time scoring history during an active event — refresh the page to see new changes.

Scoring history displays the exact changes made by everyone scoring for the card, including the duration of the round from card creation to scorecard submission and a detailed breakdown of all score changes made by any scorekeeper.
