π Before you begin: Players (or teams) must be added to the UDisc League or Event before generating cards. Learn how to add players (or teams) here.

How do I create and publish cards for my UDisc event?
Follow the steps below to start generating cards for your event within minutes:
Head into the Cards tab in your Event tools
Tap Edit cards
Then, Edit rules on the next screen
Fill in card rules including:
Players per card - Set how many players are on a typical card.
Starting holes - If you have fewer players than holes, deselect holes you don't want groups to start on.
Division mixing - Choose from "Mix when necessary," "Never mix divisions," or "Mix divisions." Learn more.
Divisions grouping - Group divisions with similar skill levels (e.g., MPO and MA1 or FA40 and FA50).
Player arrangement - Choose "Randomize players" or "Unassign players and let me manually build cards.
Tap Save
Select Generate cards (or manually assign)
Once cards in generated & reviewed, tap Publish cards
If you want to re-generate cards, tap the Unassign all players button, then choose if you want to keep the empty cards or start from scratch.
Selecting "Yes" will keep all cards created but move players off these cards. If you like the number of cards that were created and what hole they were starting on, select "Yes" to keep this structure and manually assign players.
Selecting "No" will remove both cards and players.
To view and edit published cards, go to the Leaderboard tab.
β¨ Use Publish cards and send notification to players so that players receive a notification on their device that they've been added to a card.
How do I publish cards for round 2 of an event?
If you are running a multi-round tournament, you can easily generate cards for round 2 (or 3) based on the cards rules you've already created. For most events, you won't need to edit your cards rules before creating cards for round 2. To create cards for round 2:
Head into the Cards tab
Tap Edit cards
*If you think you'll want to edit your cards rules, tap into Edit rules on this screen.
Hit Generate cards
Tap Publish cards (and send notification to players)
If your round 2 cards are based on round 1 placement, there is no need to edit your card rules. Cards for round 2 will use scores from round 1 to place players on the appropriate cards.
Some reasons you may change cards rules could include:
You want players to start on different holes than round 1
Divisions could mix for round 1, but shouldn't for round 2
The field size shrunk (there was a cut) and cards should have 3 players, not 4 per card
π‘ Pro tip: Want players to create their own cards in round 1, then use placement-based grouping for round 2? Use "Unassign players and let me manually build cards" for round 1 (and make sure "Players and admin can create cards"), then switch to "Randomize players" for round 2. Cards will automatically group players based on their round 1 scores.
How do I unpublish cards?
To make changes to or edit a published card, the card must first be set to unpublished using the steps below:
To unpublish a single card:
Tap the 3-dot-menu to the right of a published card
Then Unpublish card
Return to the Cards tab to make edits to and republish this card
To unpublish multiple cards at once
Tap Actions -> Unpublish cards
Tap the Go to card setup button to make edits to rules and regenerate your cards
Note: You cannot unpublish a card that has started scoring until all scores are removed.
Why can't I unpublish a card?
If a card has already begun to keep score, you can't unpublish the card. To unpublish the card, scores must be removed by hitting the pencil icon next to the player's score -> Adjust scores & penalties. Remove scores for all players, then hit the 3-dot menu -> Unpublish card.
Can I move a player to another card?
Even if a card has been published or scores have been added to a card, you can move players to another card. To move a player to another card, follow the steps below:
Tap the Pencil icon next to the player's name in the Leaderboard tab
Select Move to card...
Use the dropdown to choose the card you want to move them to
*If no other cards exist, exit this screen & use the Actions button -> Create new card to add a new card, then return to steps 1-3
Tap Save
If you're not seeing the option to "Move to card..." or "Add players to this card..." it's likely the event has been set to Complete. On the Leaderboard tab, use the toggle to set to the event to Incomplete. You may also need to hit the 3-dot-menu then select "Remove card verification." After you've set to event to incomplete and/or removed card verification, you can then move players to a different card.
Learn more about removing players from an event if they drop out or don't finish (DNF) the event.
