When setting up your event, you'll choose a start format โ this determines how players begin their round. There are three options.
Shotgun start
All players begin at the same time but from different starting holes. Each player starts at an assigned hole and continues around the course in order from there.
When using Shotgun start, you'll see the option to enable Card selection โ this lets players pick their own card grouping when they register. See How to set up registration for your league or event for details.
Tee times
Players are assigned a specific start time on event day and typically all begin at hole 1. When using Tee times, you'll see the option to enable Tee time selection โ this lets players pick their own tee time when they register. See How to set up registration for your league or event for details.
Flex start
Players can start their round at any time during the event window โ no assigned hole or tee time. This is the most common format for casual weekly leagues.
Tip: When using Flex start, set Who can create cards? to Players and event admin so players can check in and create their own scorecards when they arrive at the course.
