Updated over 2 months ago

Getting Started

Start by accessing your Course Tools. You can find them by going to UDisc.com/dashboard or through the course listing.

Select the Layouts tab from the left sidebar.

Find the layout you want to edit and tap Edit on the right side.

Editing Layout Details

From the General tab, you can update:

  • Layout name

  • Caddie book intro

  • Layout-specific rules and notes

Updating Holes

UDisc has introduced a new Layout Builder tool that can be used for advanced hole customization. This includes adding doglegs and mapping connections between tees and baskets efficiently.

You have two options for editing holes:

Option 1: Edit directly on the map Walk through each hole and make changes directly on the course map. Select new tees or targets by tapping them on the map.

Option 2: Use the Overview tab Go to the Overview tab and use the dropdown menus to change tee and target selections for each hole quickly.

The Layout Builder also enables advanced functionalities like creating doglegs and establishing dynamic fairway connections from with your Layouts tab.

For each hole, you can also adjust:

  • Hole name and par

  • Hole-specific notes

  • Tee and target positions

  • Creating doglegs

  • Mapping tees to multiple targets

Keep in mind that Map Manager is your main mapping tool and should be used to edit most mapping.

Leveraging Advanced Layout Builder Features

The Layout Builder supports:

  • Adding doglegs to fairways for more dynamic course designs.

  • Mapping creative connections between tee pads and targets. These features allow for significant customization and enhance the overall experience for players.

Publishing Your Updates

After making all necessary changes, tap Publish layout to save your updates and make them available to players immediately.

Once a layout exists, the number of holes cannot be changed. If you need a layout with a different number of holes, you'll need to create a new layout instead.
