Step 1. Start the walkthrough
You can access Map Manager two ways:
From the app: tap the 3 dot menu in the upper right of your course listing and select Map Manager.
From the web: go to UDisc.com/dashboard, select your course, then choose the Map Manager tab on the left.
Once you're in Map Manager, tap "I'm ready" to get started.
Step 2. Give us the details
We'll ask for some information about your course before you start mapping:
How many holes are you mapping?
How many tees and targets per hole?
What types of baskets?
How many baskets are playable at the same time?
If your course has multiple tee or target positions, it helps to have this ready before you start:
Your naming system for tee positions (e.g., Red, White, Blue or Short, Long)
Your naming system for target positions (e.g., A, B, C or Short, Long)
Descriptions of each physical basket installed at the same time (color, manufacturer, model, or any other identifying details)
Step 3. Place tees, targets & fairways
We recommend mapping on your mobile device while walking the course so you can use your GPS location, but you can place things manually too.
Place each tee and select what that position is called.
If one physical tee pad serves multiple positions (like both Red and White), select both options.
If a hole has additional tee positions, answer "Yes" to that question, and place the next one.
Follow the same process for targets — place each one and indicate which position it represents.
If your course has multiple baskets installed at the same time, indicate which target positions currently have a basket installed and specify which basket is at each position. If no basket is installed, select No basket.
Adjust the fairway to match the course, adding doglegs where needed.
Set the par for each tee-to-target combination.
Review the summary and map view to verify everything looks correct before moving to the next hole.
Repeat for each hole.
Note: If only one position option remains for a tee or target, it will be applied automatically.
Step 4. Finalize & publish
Review the complete course overview and verify all map details and positions are correct.
Tap Publish.
Select which layouts you want auto-created.
We'll suggest and auto-create some simple layouts based on your map. You'll always be able to create more or make changes later.
My course has been redesigned — can I start over?
If your course has been significantly redesigned and you want to remap it from scratch using the guided Map My Course walkthrough, reach out to us via chat and ask the team to reset your course map. We can wipe your existing map so you can start fresh, exactly as if you were mapping for the first time.
Before you request a reset, there are a few things to be aware of:
This is permanent. A map reset cannot be undone. Make sure you're ready to remap the entire course before asking.
All course stats will be lost. Any stats tied to your current map — hole averages, play counts, and similar — will be cleared.
Round ratings and layout difficulties will need to rebuild. These are calculated from accumulated play data, so they'll need enough rounds logged on the new map before they can be displayed again.
If you only need to remove and redo individual holes or positions rather than the entire map, you can do that yourself — see Managing tee and target positions.
