Some parts of UDisc, such as the directory or list of events, rely on GPS and are dependent on a reliable connection. However, there are some things you can do, even offline.
If you're planning to play a course and layout that you've played in the past, you'll easily be able to create a scorecard. You'll be able to locate the course from the Recent tab during scorecard creation.
If you're planning to play a new course and you know the service there may be spotty, the best thing to do is create your scorecard ahead of time. This will allow the course and layout to load so they're available even once service is lost. You'll enter your scores like normal and save the scorecard.
Network error will pop up on your screen occasionally to let you know that your scores are not being synced to the servers. These scores will sync as soon as you have service again.
Additionally, even without service you will always be able to access your Profile stats, scorecards, players, discs, throws, putting scorecards, accuracy scorecards, and putting practice.
