Quick Answer
Yes β you can keep score, view your stats, and access saved scorecards without an internet connection. Some features (like the course directory and live score syncing) require connectivity, but core gameplay works offline.
What Works Offline
Keeping score on a course you've played before
Keeping score on a new course (if you pre-load the scorecard before losing service)
Viewing your Profile stats
Accessing saved scorecards, players, and discs
Throw tracking, putting scorecards, accuracy scorecards, and putting practice
What Requires an Internet Connection
Loading new courses in the course directory
Browsing the events list
Real-time score syncing with cardmates
Updating leaderboards
Posting rounds to the community feed
How to Prepare for a Round with No Service
Playing a course you've played before
No action needed. Open UDisc and find the course under the Recent tab when creating your scorecard. The course and layout will be available even without service.
Playing a new course with spotty service
Create your scorecard before you lose service. This loads the course and layout onto your device so it's available offline. You'll enter scores normally and save the scorecard as usual.
What Happens to My Scores When I'm Offline?
A "Network error" banner will appear occasionally to let you know scores aren't syncing to the server. This is expected behavior β your scores are being saved locally on your device and will sync automatically as soon as you're back in range.
