The Statistics tab is the place to be! This powerful space houses a number of reports, charts, and downloadable resources that you can utilize to prove how impactful your course truly is. Use the guide below as a resource to help you understand how to make the most of this space.

A quick stats overview

Just wanting a quick glimpse of the last few weeks of play on your course? Head to your Course Tools → Dashboard tab where you’ll see an overview of Total plays, Total recreation hours, and Unique players. Tap show more stats to be launched into the full view of your Statistics tab.

View Lifetime stats

At the top of the page, you’ll notice a Lifetime stats graph that includes 4 categories:

  • Play count

  • Recreation hours

  • Unique players

  • Steps taken

Lifetime stats include the full collection of stats UDisc has to offer from when your course was first listed in the Course Directory to present day. Use the 3-dot menu to de-select certain years, download charts, or download the data listed.

Downloading data for any given graph will download the full data set that’s presented in the graph to a CSV.

Ratings over the past year

Curious how your course rating has changed over the past year? Pan through this graph to view dips and increases in rating. Use the dropdown option on the top right of the chart to change the information that’s displayed, including:

  • Overall rating - 0.5 - 5 stars possible (5 = best)

  • Upkeep - Abandoned (0) to well-maintained (5)

  • Shot variety/design - Boring (0) to wide variety (5)

  • Tee areas - Nonexistent (0) to excellent (5)

  • Signage/wayfinding - Nonexistent (0) to excellent (5)

  • Amenities - Nonexistent (0) to excellent (5)

  • Scenery/views - Unattractive (0) to beautiful (5)

  • Listing accuracy - Inaccurate (0) to accurate (5)

Pro tip! Tap the expand icon to expand to full screen, download chart, or download data.

Stats by time frame

This section offers a variety of course data that can be filtered by the following time frames:

  • Last 4 weeks

  • Last 52 weeks (~1 year)

  • Lifetime of course

  • Custom date range

Setting the timeframe in this section will affect all charts under Stats by time frame. Each chart and associated data set must be downloaded individually in this section.

Hole score breakdown

Looking for the nitty gritty on how people are performing across your course? Check out the hole score breakdown section to see data for each fairway mapped in Map Manager (fairway = tee pad to basket), including the distance, par, average, global hole score average, and total plays.

This section can be filtered by day, week, or last 30 days. Information displayed in this chart is pulled from Map Manager mapping and Smart Layout plays. To ensure this data is as accurate as possible, make sure your Map Manager mapping is up-to-date and that all your layouts are Smart Layouts!

Downloads + Fact Sheet

Are you meeting with your local municipality to prove the worth of your course? Or, hoping to use course data to get a new course in the ground?

In the top right of the Statistics tab you’ll find the Fact Sheet button. Here you can download a Fact sheet that includes play counts, travel/tourism data, unique players, distance walked/steps taken, calories burned, facts about disc golf, and a few other tidbits to help further your case for a new course or improvement at your course!
