πŸ”’ How do I use the scorecard?

Start a round, record scores, and customize your scorecard β€” scores off, tee order, private notes, and more.

Everything you need to start a round, record scores, and finish up β€” plus optional settings to customize how you play.

Quick Answer

Tap Play, select your course and layout, add your cardmates, and tap Start my round. During your round, tap the + sign on each hole to enter scores. When you're done, tap Finish round to save.

Starting your round

  1. Tap Play.

  2. Select your course.

  3. Choose the layout.

  4. Confirm your cardmates.

  5. Tap Customize your round to adjust any settings (optional).

  6. Tap Start my round.

During your round

Recording scores: Tap the + sign on the scorecard to enter scores for each hole.

Hole maps: Tap the blue map icon in the upper right to open or close the hole map β€” useful for navigating the course and gauging distances.

Scorecard settings

These settings can be applied when starting a round via Customize your round, or changed at any time from the scorecard menu (three horizontal lines in the upper right).

Turn scores off

Scores-off rounds let you use UDisc without keeping score β€” useful if you want to track activity, keep your streak alive, or play casually. Free for all players.

To set scores off when starting a round, set each player's scoring preference to Scores off before tapping Start my round.

To toggle scores on or off during an active round:

  1. Tap the scorecard menu in the upper right.

  2. Tap Scoring.

  3. Switch the setting and tap Done.

Any scores entered before turning scores off are preserved β€” if you switch back to a scoring round, they'll reappear. Even with scores off, you'll still see distance, par, and hole maps.

Note: After a round is finished, you can only change the scores setting for yourself β€” other players' settings can't be adjusted.

To default all new rounds to scores off, go to You β†’ Menu β†’ App settings and toggle on Default to activity round under Scorecards.

Hide your overall score

If you'd rather not see your running total while you play, you can hide it.

During scorecard creation: Open Customize your round and toggle on Hide overall score.

On an active scorecard:

  1. Tap the scorecard menu in the upper right.

  2. Scroll to the Scoring section.

  3. Toggle on Hide overall score.

Note: This setting hides the overall score for all players on the scorecard, not just you.

Say the tee order

UDisc can announce the tee order aloud when you swipe to the next hole.

In App settings:

  1. Go to You β†’ Menu β†’ App settings.

  2. Under Scorecards, toggle on Say the tee order.

On an active scorecard:

  1. Tap the scorecard menu in the upper right.

  2. Under Scoring, toggle on Say the tee order.

Note: This setting is only available on scorecards with 2 or more players. Make sure your volume is on β€” on iOS, check that the mute switch is off.

To change the announcement voice, go to You β†’ Menu β†’ App settings β†’ Bushnell Disc Jockey and tap the gear icon.

Save a private note

Scorecard notes let you jot down anything about your round β€” course conditions, disc choices, what you want to remember next time. Notes are only visible to you, even in a group.

  1. Tap the scorecard menu in the upper right.

  2. Under Tools, tap Scorecard notes.

  3. Write your note and save.

Tip: Writing a note during a round automatically inserts the hole number you're currently on.

Finishing your round

After completing the final hole, tap Finish round to save your scorecard. You can then:

  • Review the round summary and stats

  • Share your scorecard with friends

  • Personalize your round β€” name your round, add photos, or log how your round felt

  • Post your round to your feed (optional)

Your completed round is automatically saved to your profile and included in your course statistics.
