🔃 How do I duplicate a UDisc event?

Can I copy over the course and layout information, settings and rules from one event to another? How do I duplicate advanced events through league admin tools?

Duplicating an event creates a brand-new copy of it — including the course, layout, settings, and rules — so you don't have to rebuild the same setup each time you run a similar event, like a repeating tournament or a new league matchup.

Important: Duplicating always creates a separate event with its own link and settings. It's not a way to add a round, session, or schedule item to an event you already have — for that, use the Rounds tab (scored events) or the Schedule tab (non-scoring events, like Clinics) on that event instead. See How do I set up rounds?

Tip: Duplicating is especially useful for Advanced events (multi-pool, multi-round) since these don't support recurrence — duplicate them manually instead of recreating from scratch.

Duplicate a league event

  1. Go to udisc.com/dashboard and tap into your League tools

  2. Tap the Events tab and select the event you'd like to duplicate

  3. Tap the 3-dot menu in the upper-right → Duplicate this event

  4. Fill out the event name(s), select the league you'd like it associated with, and set the start date

  5. Tap Create event(s)

Note: If you duplicated more than one event, you'll see options to visit the public and admin pages for each. If you duplicated just once, you'll be taken to the public event page — tap Manage in the top right to edit.

Duplicate a standalone event

  1. Go to your Event tools and tap the Settings tab

  2. Scroll down to Other event actions and select Duplicate this event

  3. Alternatively, go to udisc.com/events/add and select Duplicate an existing event

  4. Fill out the event name(s) and start date

  5. Tap Create event(s)

Can I duplicate an event to another league?

Yes — if you're an admin for multiple leagues, use the league dropdown under "Specify some details about the new events" to choose which league the duplicated event should belong to. If the league you're looking for isn't listed, make sure you're logged into the correct UDisc account.
