Troubleshooting update issues

Update won't download or install

  1. Check your internet connection.

  2. Make sure you have enough storage space on your device.

  3. Restart your device and try again.

"Update" button is grayed out or missing

You may already be on the latest version, or the update is downloading in the background. Wait a few minutes, restart the App Store or Play Store, and check again.

Update keeps failing

  1. Delete the UDisc app from your device. Your stats and scorecards are saved to your account and will sync back when you log in.

  2. Restart your device.

  3. Reinstall UDisc from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  4. Log back in β€” your stats will sync automatically.

On the Beta program

If you're on the UDisc Beta program, you receive updates before they're available to the public. The Beta version may be less stable and contain more bugs than the production version.

If you'd like to switch back to the stable production version:

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon β†’ Manage apps & devices β†’ Beta.

  3. Find UDisc, tap it, then tap Leave and confirm.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the change to take effect. Once confirmed, uninstall UDisc and reinstall it from the Google Play Store to get the production version.

iOS

  1. Uninstall the Beta version of UDisc downloaded from TestFlight.

  2. Download the production version of UDisc from the App Store.
