UDisc released some big improvements to the Leagues and Events platform. Stay up to date with the full list of updates below!

(Updated: March 20, 2025)

⌚️ Creating your event

Choose from the most popular recommended league event templates, or duplicate a previous event to make setting up the details a breeze. Randomize teams for doubles, manage and publish card groupings, or let players pick their own cards in the app!

✅ Pre-registration

Whether you’re running a tournament or just want players to be able to pre-register for weeklies, pre-registration is right at your finger tips! You can enable pre-registration with or without player self check-in. If you’re using pre-registration for a singles or BYOP event, then you can also allow players to select their own card for the first round; learn more in this dedicated article.

✚ Multi-round league events

Choose the league event template that suits your needs! Advanced league events allow you to create a multi-round event that features multi-round leaderboards with cumulative scoring, pre-round card set up, and multi pool options across different layouts or courses. This event type will still be housed within your League, making it easy for players (and you) to find these events.

More fun additions…

  • Messaging tools: Reach your entire league or event field, or a specific player or card, with communication tools including emails and push notifications. Share event information with a QR code to quickly link players to check in.

  • Round ratings: Check out round ratings on league and event leaderboards! Players will now also see their league and event rounds contributing to the Competition player rating on the You (profile) page of the app.

  • Handicap leagues: UDisc will calculate starting scores to adjust for players' recent performance in the league, leveling the playing field to give everyone a chance to compete and win. Review handicap-adjusted scores both in the scorecard, and on league leaderboards.

  • Smoother player check in: Trying to be kind and check someone else in for League? In the Players section of a league, you can filter by options like “checked in” or “people I’ve played with.”

  • Manage Tools: Tap into your manage tools from your event/league page or directly from within your scorecard. Add last-minute registrants to the event, send push notifications to the field, and make other adjustments on the fly. Learn more in the League Director Guide.

  • Scoring history: Audit logs allow league and event admins to track scoring changelogs, and review which players made changes to the scorecard and when. You can learn more here.

  • Private events: Advanced league events (and UDisc Events that aren’t affiliated with a league) can now be configured as private events. Learn more in this dedicated article.
