A pool is a group of divisions that play the same layout at the same course during each round. Use pools when different divisions need to play different layouts, or to simplify course and tee assignments for smaller divisions.
How do I create pools?
You'll need to add divisions before setting up pools. See How do I add divisions? first, then follow the steps below:
Select the Divisions & pools tab in your Event tools
Under Pools, select Yes to enable multi-pool — "Pool A" will be added automatically
Tap + Add pool to add a second pool (required to activate multi-pool)
Enter a Pool name
Use Move division to this pool to assign the correct divisions to each pool
Once pools are set up, create rounds for each pool if you haven't already. See How do I set up rounds?
What if I move a player to another division or pool after cards are created?
If cards have been created but not yet published, you can still move players between divisions. Moving a player to a division in a different pool will unassign them from their card — you can then place them manually or regenerate cards from the Cards tab.
If cards have already been published or the round is in progress, the player will be unassigned and must be moved to a card manually from the Leaderboard tab.
Important: Once a player has started their round (has a score entered), they can't be moved to another division or pool. If you need to move them, delete all of their scores and remove them from the card, them change their division from the Participants tab.
