When setting up your event, you'll choose a Play Format β either Singles or Teams. Both are available for leagues and standalone events.
What's the difference between Singles and Teams?
Singles β each player competes individually and records their own score.
Teams β multiple players (typically 2) score together as a team, with one combined score recorded per card. When creating a Teams event, you can let players register as a team (BYOP) or as individuals. You can also randomize team assignments or move players between teams from the Participants tab.
Important: Once a teams scorecard is created, you can't rearrange, add, or remove players from it. If you need to make changes, delete the scorecard and recreate it with the correct teams.
Can I turn on scorecard statistics for teams events?
Scorecard statistics can't be turned on for teams events, which means teams (like doubles and triples) rounds won't affect players' profile stats in the app. Because scorecard statistics are turned off, teams scores also won't appear on the course leaderboard.
Can I change the play format after creating an event?
Yes β play format can be changed up until play begins.
For a league event:
Go to League tools β Events
Select your event and tap the Edit (pencil) icon
Scroll down to Play Format and change your selection
Tap Update event to save
For a tournament (standalone event):
