🗓️ How to schedule a course closure or opening in advance

Set future closure and reopening dates for your course so availability changes happen automatically — no waiting on approval.

If you know a closure or reopening is coming — off-season, maintenance, a tournament — you can set it up in advance instead of updating availability the day of. Once scheduled, your course updates automatically on the dates you set.

Note: Trying to change your course's availability status directly? You'll be taken to this same calendar to schedule the change instead.

Schedule a closure (year-round or seasonal courses)

  1. While on the Dashboard of your Course Tools, find the calendar in the upper right.

  2. Select the day you want the closure to begin — this opens a scheduling window.

  3. Set the start date and end date for the closure. If you don't have an end date yet, check No end date.

  4. Select a reason for the closure.

  5. Add a message for players — this shows in the Know before you go section on the course listing while it's closed.

  6. Tap Save.

Schedule an opening (if your course is already closed)

  1. While on the Dashboard of your Course Tools, find the calendar in the upper right.

  2. Select the day you want the course to become available again — this opens a scheduling window.

  3. Select a reason.

  4. Add a message describing why the course was unavailable.

  5. Tap Save.

Note: If reopening your course would normally need a review from UDisc, your scheduled reopening will still go through that same review. Once approved, it stays scheduled and happens automatically on the date you set.

Schedule availability for a Special Events course

Special Events courses work a little differently since they're tied to an event window.

Submitting a new Special Events course: add your event's start and end dates during setup. Once approved, your course opens automatically on the start date and closes the day after it ends.

For a Special Events course you already manage:

  1. While on the Dashboard of your Course Tools, select the day you want your event window to begin on the calendar in the upper right — this opens a scheduling window.

  2. Set the start date and end date for your event window.

  3. Add a message for players.

  4. Tap Save.

Note: Not all scheduled openings are auto-approved. If yours needs a review, you can still schedule it ahead of time — it'll be scheduled as soon as it's approved.

Editing or canceling a scheduled closure

  • Select the scheduled dates on the calendar in the Dashboard to adjust or cancel it — any ambassador on your course can do this.

  • End a closure early by using the reopen button above the calendar on the Dashboard.

Reminder emails

You'll get an email 7 days before a scheduled closure or opening, and again 24 hours before. If you schedule something less than 7 days out, you'll only get the 24-hour reminder.
