πŸ† How do layout leaderboards work?

Learn how layout leaderboards are populated, what rounds qualify, and how they differ from round ratings and difficulty classifications.

⚑ Quick Answer

Layout leaderboards are active from the moment a layout is created β€” no minimum play count or difficulty classification is required. Any qualifying round played by a UDisc Pro member will appear on the leaderboard immediately, showing each player's single best score.

πŸ“‹ What is a Layout Leaderboard?

Every layout on UDisc has its own leaderboard that displays the best score each player has recorded on that layout. You can find it by:

  1. πŸ“ Opening the Course Directory and navigating to the course

  2. πŸ—‚οΈ Selecting the layout you want to view

  3. πŸ† Tapping the Leaderboard button on that layout

πŸ—“οΈ Filtering by time period

You can filter the leaderboard to see scores from a specific window:

  • Day β€” scores from today

  • Week β€” scores from the past 7 days

  • 30 days –– scores from the past 30 days

  • Year –– the past calendar year (e.g., 2026)

  • All β€” all-time best scores

πŸ‘₯ Filtering by cardmates

You can also toggle between Everyone and Cardmates to narrow the leaderboard to just players you've played with.

πŸ₯‡ Best score only

Each player appears once on the leaderboard β€” their single best score for that layout. If a player shoots a -5 one day and then a -7 another day, only the -7 will be shown. If you don't see your score, reference: πŸ† Why can't I find my score on the leaderboard?

βœ… What Rounds Qualify?

For a round to appear on a layout leaderboard, it must:

  • ⭐ Be played by a UDisc Pro member (free account holders are not shown on leaderboards)

  • 🎯 Be scored on that specific layout using UDisc

  • πŸ‘€ Be played under a UDisc account (guest profiles do not count)

  • πŸ“Š Be included in the player's stats history (rounds excluded from stats will not appear)

❓ Common Questions

πŸ† Does a layout need a difficulty classification to have a leaderboard?

No. Leaderboards are completely independent of difficulty classifications. A brand-new layout will still have an active leaderboard β€” it just won't have any entries until qualifying rounds are played. Difficulty classifications are only required for round ratings, not leaderboards.

πŸ”’ Does a layout need a minimum number of plays to activate its leaderboard?

No. There is no play count threshold for leaderboards. The very first qualifying round played on a layout will appear on its leaderboard.

πŸ‘€ Do guest players show up on the leaderboard?

No. Only rounds played by UDisc Pro members under their own account appear on leaderboards. If a player was scored as a guest on someone else's device, their score won't count.

πŸ“Š Why is my round not showing on the leaderboard?

Check the following:

  • ⭐ Confirm you have an active UDisc Pro subscription

  • βš™οΈ Make sure the round is included in your stats history β€” open the scorecard, tap the settings icon, and confirm "Include in my stats history" is turned on

  • πŸ‘€ Confirm you were scored under your UDisc account, not as a guest

  • πŸ—‚οΈ Verify the round was scored on the correct layout
