πŸ† How do layout leaderboards work?

Learn how layout leaderboards are populated, what rounds qualify, and why a score might not be showing β€” for players and league admins.

Every layout on UDisc has its own leaderboard that displays the best score each player has recorded on that layout. You can find it by opening the Course Directory, navigating to the course, selecting the layout you want to view, and tapping the Leaderboard button.

Filtering by time period

You can filter the leaderboard to see scores from a specific window:

  • Day β€” scores from today

  • Week β€” scores from the past 7 days

  • 30 days β€” scores from the past 30 days

  • Year β€” the past calendar year

  • All β€” all-time best scores

Filtering by cardmates

Toggle between Everyone and Cardmates to narrow the leaderboard to just players you've played with.

Best score only

Each player appears once on the leaderboard β€” their single best score for that layout. If a player scores -5 one day and -7 another day, only the -7 will be shown.

Note: A layout's leaderboard is tied to the layout itself, not to any specific tee or pin configuration. If a layout is played with different tee and basket combinations across rounds, all scores appear on the same leaderboard with no breakdown by configuration. If you want separate leaderboards for each configuration, create a separate layout for each one.

What rounds qualify?

For a round to appear on a layout leaderboard, it must:

  • Be played by a UDisc Pro member β€” free account holders don't appear on leaderboards

  • Be scored on that specific layout using UDisc

  • Be played under a UDisc account β€” guest profiles don't count

  • Be included in the player's stats history β€” rounds excluded from stats won't appear

  • Not have a starting score applied β€” rounds with a starting score are excluded

Why isn't a score showing on the leaderboard?

Whether you're a player whose round isn't appearing, or a league admin whose event scores aren't showing up on the course leaderboard, start by checking the most common causes below.

If you're a player:

  • Confirm you have an active UDisc Pro subscription β€” free accounts don't appear on leaderboards

  • Confirm you're logged into the correct UDisc account β€” tap You to check

  • Check your leaderboard visibility β€” go to You tab β†’ Menu (≑) β†’ Account preferences and make sure Show on leaderboards is turned on

  • Make sure the round is included in your stats history β€” open the scorecard, tap the settings icon, and confirm "Include in my stats history" is turned on

  • Check whether a starting score was applied β€” rounds with starting scores are excluded from leaderboards

  • Check for duplicate player profiles β€” go to You tab β†’ Menu (≑) β†’ Players and make sure you don't have more than one entry for yourself

  • Verify the round was scored on the correct layout

If you're a league admin or TD:

  • Stats are turned off for the event β€” in your Event tools, go to the Scoring tab and make sure stats tracking is enabled. If turned off, rounds from that event won't appear on the public course leaderboard.

  • It's a teams event β€” teams event scores don't appear on course leaderboards. Only singles rounds qualify.

  • Scores were entered manually by an admin β€” scorecards entered directly through Event tools show as incomplete on the player's device and won't count toward the leaderboard. To fix this, go to the Leaderboard tab, tap the pencil icon on the card β†’ Remove card verification. The player can then open the card in the app, verify their scores, and save their round.

  • The player doesn't have UDisc Pro β€” only UDisc Pro members appear on layout leaderboards. If a player has a free account, their score won't show even if everything else is correct.
