Want to help maintain and improve your local disc golf course? Becoming a Course Ambassador gives you the tools to map courses, create layouts, and use data to grow disc golf in your community.

Who Should Become a Course Ambassador?

Course Ambassadors are passionate players who care for their local courses. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Move baskets or set up layouts at your course

  • Help maintain or organize the course

  • Want to ensure players have accurate course information

  • Are interested in using data to advocate for disc golf in your area

  • Are willing to keep course details current and respond to player feedback

What You'll Be Able to Do

As a Course Ambassador, you'll have access to powerful tools:

Map Manager & Map My Course Tools

  • Create interactive course maps for players

  • Set up all tee and target positions with hole notes and rules

  • Make easy updates so the community always has current information

Smart Layouts & Quick Targets Tools

  • Enable round ratings for players on your course

  • Create multiple layouts for different skill levels

  • Update target positions instantly when baskets move

  • Add hole notes that appear on scorecards

Course Statistics Tool

  • See play counts, steps taken, and recreation hours

  • Measure tourism with insights on where players travel from

  • Analyze hole-by-hole scoring to identify trends

  • Use real data to advocate for new courses and improvements

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the application page

Step 2: Complete the application

You'll be asked to provide information about yourself and the course you want to support.

Step 3: Wait for approval

The UDisc team will review your application. Once approved, you'll receive access to all Course Ambassador tools.

Please note: Not all applications are approved. Some courses are managed by specific organizations or clubs that handle course ambassador duties. If your application isn't approved and you have questions about the decision, please reach out to ambassadors@udisc.com.

Step 4: Get started

After approval, you can access your Course Tools by:

  • Going to UDisc.com/dashboard, or

  • Finding your course in the app and tapping the 3-dot menu β†’ Course Tools

What's Expected of Course Ambassadors

Once you become a Course Ambassador, you'll be responsible for:

  • Keeping course information accurate and up-to-date - Location, hours, fees, amenities, and layouts

  • Responding to player feedback - Address accuracy rating concerns when they arise

  • Confirming course details at least once per year - Annual reviews help catch outdated information

  • Staying active - Ambassadors inactive for 12+ months may be removed (but can reapply anytime)
