⚖️ Run a Handicap League! Instead of manually setting a starting score, try out Handicap Leagues in UDisc by turning on handicap scoring in your UDisc League or creating a new league here.

How can I set starting scores for players?

As a league or event admin, once you or your players have published a card grouping, you’ll be able to edit starting scores in your Event tools. Follow these steps to get started:

  • Head to the Leaderboard tab of your Event tools

  • Tap the pencil icon to the right of each player

  • Select Adjust scores and penalties

  • In the Edit scores screen, use the starting score box to enter a player's starting score

  • Tap Save

💭 A few things to keep in mind:

  • Each players starting score must be changed manually

  • Starting scores can only be entered once a player has been added or registers for the event

  • If handicap scoring is used for your league event, you can't use the "starting score" field in your Leaderboard tab

When at least one player has a starting score, you’ll see an ADJ column (adjustment) on the leaderboard which displays the starting score adjustment for each player. This is visible on both the admin leaderboard view, and on the public-facing leaderboard.

Can players set their own starting scores?

Players can set their own starting scores if they are creating their own scorecard for a league or event. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap to Start round from the event page

  2. Add players to their scorecard

  3. On the Round setup screen, scroll down to Customize your round

  4. Tap Starting scores

  5. Enter the starting score for each player on the card

  6. Tap Start my round
