How can I set my event to allow pick-your-own card?

For league events, use the Formal sign up template to quickly create an event with pre-registration. Other events will have the Registration page in their event admin tools, or if you chose a Casual sign up league event template then you can convert it to an Advanced event to enable registration.

With registration turned on, you will then see either the Tee time selection or Card selection option when creating your event. Fill out the details needed and tap Create event.

🛑 Please note: If using Individual registration for a teams event, you can't use the Card selection (or "pick your own card") option. Card selection is only available for teams events that are using In teams registration.

Can I edit an event to use tee time or card selection?

Yes, an event you've already created can also use tee time or card selection options. Follow the steps below to change your settings:

  1. Head to the Events tab in your League tools

  2. Tap the Edit (pencil) icon

  3. Scroll down to “Tee time selection” or “Card selection” (for Shotgun start format events).

  4. Toggle on Yes for Require players to select a card during signup?

As the event admin, you can configure which tee times or starting holes are available for players to select during registration.

How are players prevented from overbooking a tee time?

Players are prevented from booking a tee time or selecting a card that already has the maximum numbers of players allowed. When setting up tee time or card selection you will be asked, How many players are on a typical card? and can set the maximum spots allowed.

Use the Player message on the card selection page (or tee time selection page) to communicate any additional rules or expectations for grouping sizes and card selection.

How will players what cards or tee times are available?

Players will see which tee times or starting holes are available, and which players have already selected each card when they go to register for an event.
