How do I add or edit a dogleg?

  1. Go to the Map Manager tab of your Course Tools.

  2. Select the fairway that needs to be updated.

  3. Tap Add/Edit Doglegs.

  4. Tap and drag a point on the fairway to match the shape of the hole. (You can also tap Add Point if another point is needed.)

  5. Tap Confirm Doglegs.

If you've accidentally added a dogleg that isn't needed, tap on the point and tap the trash can to delete the selected point.

How do I set a custom distance?

If your fairway’s distance is nearly perfect in matching the hole’s tee sign, but needs a slight adjustment (for example, Map Manager calculates 357 feet but the tee sign displays 355 feet), then you can override a custom distance.

  1. Tap on the fairway (line between tee and target).

  2. Tap Edit and then open up Advanced Settings on the right.

  3. Enter the custom distance and hit Save.

Custom distance is only appropriate for minor adjustments. Major discrepancies between GPS-calculated and custom distance decreases confidence in the layout difficulty and Round Ratings model and can disqualify your course.

For large discrepancies in distance, reposition your tee or target position to get a more accurate GPS-calculated distance.
