πŸƒ How do I see my card and who I'm playing with in a League or Event?

Learn how to find your card grouping, tee time, and playing partners before and during a league or event.

Audience: League & Event Players | Level: Beginner | Requires: UDisc account, registered or checked in to an event

⚑ Quick Answer

If your event organizer has created and published cards, your card will appear automatically in the Home tab of the UDisc app. You can also find it by opening the event listing directly. If you don't see a card yet, the organizer hasn't published them β€” check back closer to event time or wait for a notification from your TD.

πŸ“± Where to Find Your Card

🏠 Option 1: Home tab (easiest)

Once cards are published, your card grouping appears automatically on your Home tab in the UDisc app. You'll see your card number, playing partners, and tee time (if applicable) without needing to search for anything.

πŸ“… Option 2: Inside the event listing

  1. Open the UDisc app and tap Events

  2. Find your league or event and tap into it

  3. Your card information will be visible on the event detail page

❓ What If I Don't See a Card Yet?

This depends on how your event is set up:

πŸƒ TD-created cards (organizer builds and assigns cards)

If your event uses TD-created cards, your card will appear in the Home tab and on the event detail page once your organizer publishes them. If you don't see anything yet, cards haven't been published β€” there's nothing you need to do. Check back closer to your event start time, or watch for a push notification from your TD.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Your TD may send a push notification when cards go out, but not all organizers do this. Even without a notification, your card will still appear in the Home tab once published.

🚢 Player-created scorecards (flex start or open play)

If your event allows players to create their own scorecards, there are no pre-assigned card groupings. You'll decide who to play with when you arrive at the course β€” or your TD may group players on the spot. To start your round:

  1. Open the event in the Events tab

  2. Tap Check in if you haven't already

  3. Tap Start round and add your playing partners to the scorecard

⚠️ Not sure which setup your event uses? Ask your league or event organizer. They'll be able to tell you whether cards are pre-assigned or player-created.

πŸ‘₯ Who Will Be on My Card?

Your card grouping is decided by your event organizer. Common grouping methods include:

  • Random assignment β€” the TD randomizes players onto cards

  • Division-based β€” players are grouped by division

  • Placement-based β€” used in multi-round events where round 2 cards are set based on round 1 results

  • Manual assignment β€” the TD places specific players together

If you have a request about your card grouping (for example, wanting to play with a specific person), contact your league or event organizer directly. If cards are being created and managed by your organizer, this isn't something that can be changed from the player side β€” only your TD can move players between cards from their League or Event tools.

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting

❓ I checked in but still don't see a card

  • Issue: You're checked in but no card appears in the Home tab or event listing

  • Solution: Cards haven't been published yet. Your TD may still be building them. Check back closer to your event start time or watch for a notification. If your event is about to start and you still see nothing, reach out to your organizer directly.

❓ I'm on the wrong card or grouped with the wrong players

  • Issue: Your card grouping looks incorrect

  • Solution: Contact your league or event organizer β€” only they can make changes to card assignments. Do not create a new scorecard on your own, as this can cause scoring issues on the leaderboard.

❓ I accidentally started a scorecard without my playing partners

  • Issue: You started a round solo and need to add others

  • Solution: Tap the menu button in the top right corner of your scorecard and select Add / remove player to add your cardmates. Do not create a new scorecard. This is only possible in events where players can create their own cards.
