⌚️ Using UDisc on your Apple Watch

How to set up UDisc on your Apple Watch and troubleshoot common issues.

A UDisc Pro subscription is required to keep score on a smartwatch.

Before you start

Note: watchOS 7 or newer is required. Watches running watchOS 6 or below are not compatible with UDisc.

Set up

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down to available apps and install UDisc on your watch.

  3. Once installed, open UDisc on your watch.

  4. Open UDisc on your iPhone and start a round.

  5. Use the + and - buttons on the watch to score each hole.

  6. When the round is complete, finish it on your iPhone.

Note: The hole displayed on your watch always matches the hole on your phone. It won't automatically advance when a cardmate enters scores — you'll need to swipe to the next hole on your own device.

Troubleshooting

If UDisc isn't working on your Apple Watch, try these steps in order:

  1. Restart your watch by holding down the side button and the Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  2. Restart your iPhone.

  3. Make sure both your iPhone and watch have the latest software updates installed.

  4. Make sure you're on the newest version of UDisc on your iPhone.

  5. Uninstall UDisc from both your watch and iPhone, then reinstall it on your iPhone first, then your watch.

  6. If you're still unable to keep score, unpair your watch from your iPhone and do a fresh install of the watch.

Note: Full stats scoring (throw tracker) is not yet available on Apple Watch. It's currently only supported on Wear OS devices, and we're looking into bringing it to Apple Watch in the future.
