🤳 Minimum Requirements for Using UDisc

UDisc works on a wide range of devices and browsers, but there are a few minimum requirements to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Here's what you'll need to use the UDisc app and website.

iPhone and iPad

  • Supported OS: iOS 18 or newer

  • UDisc works best when your device is fully updated to the latest iOS version.

  • iPhones that can run iOS 18: iPhone XS, XR, and newer, including the 2nd and 3rd generation iPhone SE.

  • iPhones that can't: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.

  • iPads that can run iOS 18: iPad (7th generation and newer), iPad mini 5, iPad Air 3, iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and newer), and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and newer).

  • iPads that can't: iPad (5th and 6th generation), and iPad Pro 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch (1st and 2nd generation).

Note: If your device can't run iOS 18, you can still update UDisc to the newest version it supports. That version keeps working for now, but it won't get new tools or bug fixes, and it will stop working eventually.

Android Phones and Tablets

  • Supported OS: Android 9 or newer

  • Not sure which Android version you're using? Go to Settings → About Phone → Software Information on your device.

Note: Some older devices with limited memory or processing power may experience slower performance.

Smartwatch Support

UDisc offers smartwatch apps for keeping score and viewing hole info right on your wrist.

UDisc smartwatch apps are available for Apple Watch (watchOS 9 or newer, which means Series 4 and newer, SE 1st and 2nd generation, and Ultra), Android Wear OS and select Garmin models. See the Garmin ConnectIQ listing for the full list of compatible devices.

Note: Smartwatches must be paired with a compatible smartphone running the UDisc app.

  • Wear OS and Samsung watches are not compatible with Apple devices.

  • Apple Watches are not compatible with Android devices.

  • The original Apple Watch and Series 1, 2, and 3 can't run watchOS 9 and are not compatible with UDisc. If you have one of those, UDisc may be removed from your watch entirely the next time you update the UDisc iOS app to a version that raises the minimum required watchOS — this is expected Apple platform behavior, not a UDisc bug.

Website System Requirements

Besides our mobile apps, you can also use many UDisc options on the web. Here's what you'll need for the best experience.
