Quick Answer
Use the filters button at the top left of the Courses tab to access all search options. Quick filter buttons along the top let you adjust common settings like difficulty and length. View preferences at the bottom of the filters menu control what types of courses appear and sync across all your devices.
Understanding the Course Directory Controls
When you open the Courses tab, you'll see several tools at the top of the screen to help you find courses:
Left side: Filters button
Tap this button to access the full list of filters and view preferences.
Top bar: Quick filters and settings
Along the top bar, you'll find:
Location and sorting controls:
Distance from me - Choose how far from your location to search for courses
Course sort - Change how courses are ordered in your results
Quick filter buttons:
Difficulty - Filter by course difficulty levels
Best - Opens star rating and "courses with the best" options
Awards - Filter by course awards and recognition
Length - Opens number of holes and estimated time options
Courses - Quick access to played/unplayed/wishlist filters
Year - Opens to year established filter
Cost - Opens to cost filter
Services - Opens to services/amenities filter
Accessibility - Opens to accessibility filter
Distance from Me
Default distance: Less than 25 miles from your location (or 25 km if using metric)
Available options:
Less than 10 miles
Less than 25 miles (default)
Less than 50 miles
Less than 100 miles
Less than 250 miles
Anywhere
Note: If there are no courses within the default 25-mile radius, UDisc will automatically expand the search area until at least one course is found.
Course Sort
Choose how courses appear in your results:
Recommended (default) - Combines course ratings and distance to show you the best nearby options
Closest - Shows courses nearest to your location first
Highest rated - Shows courses with the best ratings first
Filters (Session-Based Search Criteria)
Filters help you narrow down which courses appear in your search results. These settings persist throughout your current app session but will reset when you close the app.

Use the slider bar to set minimum and maximum hole counts:
Minimum: 3 holes
Maximum: 27+ holes
Estimated Time to Play
Use the slider bar to set minimum and maximum play times:
Minimum: Less than 30 minutes
Maximum: 3+ hours
Star Rating
Use the slider bar to filter by course rating:
Minimum: Any rating (or select 3.5, 4, 4.5)
Maximum: 5 stars
The slider can also stop at .25 increments (e.g., 3.75, 4.25) though these aren't displayed

Filter courses by top-rated features:
Scenery/views
Upkeep
Shot variety/design
Tee areas
Signage/wayfinding
Amenities
Awards
Find award-winning courses:
Top 100 courses in the world
Top 5 in each country
Top 5 in each state
Top 5 in each Canadian province

Use the slider bar to filter courses by the year they were established:

Filter by available amenities:

View Preferences (Persistent Settings)
View preferences control what types of courses and content appear on your map and in your course list. These settings sync across all your devices and persist every time you open the app.
To access view preferences, tap the filters button and scroll to the bottom of the menu.
Available view preferences:
Show/hide object courses - Courses using something other than baskets as targets
Show/hide unavailable courses - Courses not currently open
Show/hide special events courses - Seasonal or event-specific courses
Show/hide limited access courses - Courses with restricted access
Show/hide stores - Disc golf stores on the map
Show/hide course images on list view - Toggle course photos in list view

Looking for a quick round near you?
Set distance to "Less than 10 miles"
Filter by "Less than 30 minutes" estimated time
Sort by "Closest"
Planning a disc golf trip?
Set distance to "Anywhere" or your destination area
Filter by "Awards" to find top-rated courses
Sort by "Highest rated" to see the best options
Want to track your progress?
Use the "Courses" quick filter to toggle between played and unplayed
Add courses to your wishlist for future visits
Prefer accessible courses?
Use the "Accessibility" filter to find wheelchair or limited mobility accessible courses
Use the "Services" filter to find cart-friendly or stroller-friendly options
Resetting Filters
To reset all filters and start fresh:
Tap the filters button
Tap the "Reset" button at the top of the filters menu
This will reset all temporary filters but will NOT change your view preferences
