Photo Review Process
All submitted photos are automatically screened to ensure they meet our quality and content standards. Images that don't align with our criteria will not be approved for posting.
You will receive an email notification once your photos have been reviewed. The email will let you know if your photos were approved and added to the course or store, or if they were rejected with an explanation of why.
Photo Guidelines
Course photos should showcase the course! Great course photos might include scenery, tee pads, fairways, trees, obstacles, and targets on the disc golf course.
Store photos should showcase the store and help players know what to expect when they visit.
Common Rejection Reasons
Photos may not be approved if they:
Include people, pets, animals, or disc golf equipment (discs/bags) - for course photos
Contain text, logos, or are screenshots
Have captions with inappropriate language or content
Don't meet UDisc content guidelines
Are submitted from newer accounts not yet eligible to submit photos
If your photos weren't approved, you can learn more about common rejection reasons and what to do in our dedicated article about why photos get rejected.
Tips for Great Photos
Focus on showcasing the course features or store environment
Use clear, well-lit photos without glare or obstructions
Avoid including people, equipment, or personal items in course photos
Add helpful captions that provide context about what's shown
For course photos, tag the correct hole to help players navigate
Editing or removing photos
Once photos are approved, only Course Ambassadors (for course photos) and store staff (for store photos) can edit or remove them. This includes editing captions, reassigning photos to a different hole, and removing photos entirely.
If you're a Course Ambassador or store staff member, you can manage photos directly from your course or store page.
If you're a player and you notice a photo that should be removed â for example, it's outdated, inaccurate, or doesn't meet guidelines â ask to talk to a person in the chat and we can take a look.
